Cherylton

In overview, Cheryton comprises almost 19,000 acres of premium farmland in the South West of Western Australia. It will support an Angus stud herd of 300, and Angus commercial beef herd of up to 500, 20,000 breeding ewes, an 8,500 broad acre cropping program, 40 acres of premium grade orchard and a commercial packing shed, and 15 acres of dams stocked with marron.

The objectives are:
- To establish Cherylton as a recognised premium brand of beef, lamb, marron and fruit. Applying "paddock to plate" principles Cherylton branded produce will appear on the shelves of West Australian gourmet delis, independent grocers and on the menus of restaurants;
- To establish a reputation for Cherylton Stud pedigree Angus genetics; and
- To produce a commercial return from the sale of grain.
