Congratulations to our team in the Great Southern Region, after a successful weekend at the Master Builders Association of WA Commonwealth Bank Building Excellence Awards!

The team were honoured to bring home a bundle of awards, including Best Contract Home $750,000 – $800,000, Best Contract Home $1m – $1.5m and Best Customer Service (Medium Builder).

The Commonwealth Building Excellence Awards Great Southern combine both residential and commercial construction of the Great Southern region.

These awards showcase and reward builders who demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship, commitment to building excellence and uphold the highest professional standard.

JWH Group’s unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service has earned them the prestigious Customer Service Award in the Great Southern Region at the Master Builders Association of WA Awards, showcasing their dedication to excellence in the construction industry.

General Manager Tony Harvie said these awards are a reflection of the high standard of workmanship by The Rural Building Co. and Plunkett Homes.

The awards, also recognise the quality of work achieved by engaged contractors and tradespeople.

“It is humbling to be recognised by the Master Builders Association and amongst a high calibre of peers within the industry,” Mr Harvie said.

“To be recognised and awarded across multiple categories, is a testament to our brands, showcasing our products, high quality homes and superior workmanship.

Mr Harvie said the awards reflected the superior quality of workmanship of specialist trades in the Great Southern.

“The spotlight is on the talent of skilled, local tradespeople for awards won including Excellence in Carpentry, Excellence in Brick and Block Paving and the Silver Trowel Award,” Mr Harvie said.

“As the State’s largest regional builder, we are invested in the local communities. We engage with local trades, employ local people and serve a long-term commitment to the regional towns.

“We take pride in supporting the communities through building operations, contributing to a strong sense of community – part of what makes the regional areas a great place to live.”

The Master Builders Building Excellence Awards are something that I really look forward to every year, it pleases me to see the builders be acknowledged for all their hard work and the amazing quality that we see being produced here in the Great Southern Region.
