One of Western Australia’s most established home builders, Plunkett Homes is pleased to announce it will be moving premises in August 2021.
Currently based in Cannington, Plunkett Homes will be taking up residency in Osborne Park, at 129 Hasler Road.
Employees will benefit from access to public transport, free parking and a newly, refurbished office space.
The Osborne Park industrial area houses numerous flagship showrooms and retail outlets. Plunkett Homes employees will have better access to these retailers where consultants and clients can browse the extensive ranges of materials and interior finishes, allowing for a more personalised client experience.
JWH Group General Manager Jay Walter said he was excited about the move, which would relocate 74 staff within close proximity to the JWH Group brands including In Vogue, New Level, Oswald Homes, Residential Attitudes, WA Country Builders and The Rural Building Company.
“At JWH Group, we value our staff and pride ourselves on being approachable and understanding,” Mr Walter said.
“Although our team easily transitioned to working remotely in 2020, we learned that many prefer to come to the office for the daily interactions with their colleagues, contributing to their mental well-being.
“One of the most desirable benefits our team identified was free parking. The new office location offers 60 car spaces or is a 13-minute walk from Glendalough Train Station for those using public transport.”
Started in 1903, Plunkett Homes has been a leader in the building industry, introducing the display village in the 1950’s, a 20-year structural guarantee and building quality, family homes to suit an extensive range of blocks.
In 2006, Plunkett Homes was acquired by the JWH Group, Western Australia’s third largest building company and since then expanded more into the state, opening offices in Geraldton and Albany in addition to their Bunbury office.
Plunkett Homes will bring new life into the building owned by Brown-Neaves Investments, a win-win partnership formed by Director Garry Brown-Neaves and JWH Group Managing Director Julian Walter.
“I’m excited that a brand with the reputation and history Plunkett has earned over the years has taken residency of what was known as the Webb and Brown-Neaves building,” Mr Brown-Neaves said.
