Oswald Homes brings Scandinavia to City Beach
From its idyllic City Beach location, you can smell the sea air while in this open-plan home that embraces a clean, modern Scandinavian style.
Oswald Homes is pleased to present its latest, exciting design The Odyssea.
The Odyssea exudes sophistication and a radiates a tranquil holiday vibe that will remind you of a Dunsborough seaside retreat, making you want to hibernate all year.
The clever four-bedroom, four-bathroom design is spacious and perfect for growing or intergenerational families. Each bedroom is paired with an ensuite complete with brushed nickel tapware and wall-hung vanities. The use of micro cement was used on the walls in the ensuite and the powder room to provide a seamless finish on the walls, adding to the sense of luxury.
A key element of a Scandinavian style home, the gabled roof spine and high raking ceilings allow natural light to flood through the open plan living area making it feel light and airy. The north-facing orientation delivers radiant warmth into the home, passively heating the living area home in winter and NSW Blackbutt Ceilings were installed to the roof to add to the sense of warmth.
Throughout the home, limestone look tiles were used and the natural textures and neutral colour palette of The Odyssea make the home feel warm and inviting.
Interior Designer and Project Manager Team Leader Kestryn Chaloner said that she designed the interior to have a relaxed, coastal ‘down south’ vibe, but wanted it to be unique from a typical coastal home. Luxurious furnishings and a natural gas fire heater which is a centerpiece to the home, has a cocooning effect making you feel comfortable and calm.
Take your time and explore the flexibility and functionality of The Odyssea’s clever 4 x 4 design, including oceans of room for relaxed outdoor entertaining.
The Odyssea is located at 37 Peasholm Street and will be open from 24 July. Display opening times are Saturdays and Sundays 1.00pm – 4.00pm.
